Here are few things you need to know for a successful Day Camp experience:

1. Morning & Afternoon Carpool - All vehicles must enter the church grounds through Camelot Subdivision. We will have huge signs posted at the correct street. Camelot Dr entrance is off Three Notch Road and is to the west of St. Vincent Catholic Church. After dropping off or picking your scout, you will exit around the church to Three Notch Road.

Staff parking is on the east side of the church sanctuary.

2. Scouts can be dropped off between 7:30 - 7:45 a.m. They will immediately go to their den area to meet their den chaperone. Opening ceremony begins at 8:00 a.m. and closing ceremony begins at 2:20. They will be ready for pick up at 2:45 p.m. Monday morning will be very busy until we get all the scouts matched up with their den chaperone. Please be patient. Den areas will be located in the shade at the west fence line of the property, near the playground and basketball courts.

During afternoon carpool, it is helpful if you place a sheet of paper in your dash with your scout's name on it.

3. Scouts needs to bring a lunch and snack clearly labeled with their name. We will have a Trading Post open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Trading Post and Camp Office will be located in the Multipurpose Bldg. Gatorade $1.00, pickle pops 25 cents, chips/cookies/dill pickles/sunflower seeds are 50 cents each. Scouts should bring snack money in a ziplock bag labeled with their name. Please do not send more than a few dollars.

**Things to leave at home: electronics, toys and bad attitudes!!

Staff will be served a hot lunch everyday from Golden Corral. whoo hoo! This is extremely generous of them to do for us this week. Staff lunches are a way for Nita and I to show our staff how much they are appreciated.

4. If you registered by May 23, your scout will receive a Camp t-shirt. Den Chaperones will have the shirts on Monday morning. The scout camp shirts are orange. Staff shirts are grey. All scouts and staff should wear shorts with a beltloop so they can attach the water bottle we will give them on Monday.

5.  Friday is Family Fun Day. All families are welcome to attend camp with their scout on Friday. We will be doing Olympic games (shotput, hurdles, water relay races, water obstacle course, tug of war, etc.)

6. Our Friday closing ceremony will begin at 11:00. Lunch will be served immediately after closing ceremony . We will serve hot dogs, chips, kool-aid, tea, brownies. Your scout will bring home a lunch RSVP form. Please, please complete the form and return to Den Chaperones or Camp Office.

7. Check our camp website frequently. www.stcubdaycamp.clubspaces.com We will be adding pictures and announcements about camp.

8. We are looking for someone to assist Webelos wood crafts for a 2 hours Mon - Thurs. If you have a retired grandfather or a dad is available, please call Nita 753-0722 ASAP.
